Hybrid: Lakewood, CO (3days onsite)
Initial 6mth contract with potential extensions Partnering up with a medical device manufacturer and global leader as they look to bring on a HR Manager to support special projects / drive critical business initiatives during a period of significant growth andtransformation. This position is essential to maintaining momentum on accelerated projects and enterprise priorities that require dedicated HR leadership, strategic partnership, and seamless cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with senior leaders, you will lead complex people strategies, organizational development efforts, talent initiatives, and change management activities that directly impact business performance. The scope and pace of this role offer a unique opportunity to shape organizational outcomes, influence key decisions, and ensure the company has the talent, processes, and culture needed to achieve its ambitious goals. Ideal candidates are experienced HR leaders who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy solving complex business challenges, and have a proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives from strategy through execution.
Duties: Leads projects, or segments of projects, assuring their integration within Human Resources, the business, and corporation, as appropriate. Provides guidance for professional development and succession planning of staff and associates. Makes recommendations to management regarding HR related initiatives, program changes, and effective cost reducing strategies. Provides expertise and coaching in areas that may have legal implications. Participates in organizational development ensuring that systems and resources are aligned to support long term business goals. Ensures that Human Resources participate at a peer level on major business initiatives, significantly influencing the design and outcome of non-HR business issues. Accountable for decisions with HR implications within the business or business segment, considering and ensuring appropriate process and linkages across businesses. May serve on various Business/Corporate committees dealing with topics such as benefits, policies, worker's compensation, and reward systems.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
  • Minimum 10 years experience within HR. This includes experience in design, planning, and implementation of innovative Human Resource and other business plans and programs.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate and establish collaborative working relationships with all levels within the organization in addition to working with external customers when necessary.
  • Requires in-depth working knowledge and understanding of various areas of Human Resources such as Associate Relations, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, and associate training and organizational development.
  • Requires strong analytical skills, ability to identify, define, and solve problems rapidly, and to think and plan strategically.
  • Requires an in-depth understanding of human motivation and the ability to influence decision making in all functions and levels of the organization.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of state and federal regulations/legislation in the Human Resources areas
  • Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsPHR/SPHR certification preferred.
