About the role

To support a global labor program environment, the contract-based Lead International Development Evaluator will manage monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) tasks, ensuring technical oversight and delivering insights for clients in the Government and Public Services Sector, while working hybrid-remote from the Washington, DC area.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, implementation, and utilization of MEL tasks, conducting quality reviews and finalizing deliverables Provide technical oversight by matching specialist expertise to assignment needs and mentoring team members Conduct evaluations, data analysis, and fieldwork to validate findings and measure program impact
Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in evaluation, economics, public policy, social science, or a related field At least 8 years of recent experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning for international development projects Expertise in program evaluation, performance monitoring, and data analysis methodologies Experience with technical consulting in the Government and Public Services Sector Strong understanding of ethical considerations and IRB approvals related to sensitive information
