About the role
About the Company:
We are partnering with a highly respected technology company that has become a trusted strategic partner to many of the largest insurance carriers in North America. The business provides modern software solutions that help insurers improve customer engagement, operational efficiency and long-term policyholder value. With a strong client base, established market presence and a reputation for delivering measurable outcomes, the company is continuing to invest in its commercial organisation as demand for its platform grows.
About the Role:
As part of this growth, the company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead strategic enterprise sales efforts across top-tier insurance carriers. This is an opportunity to join an established technology business that operates at the intersection of insurance, digital transformation and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute account strategies across leading insurance carriers. Build executive-level relationships with business, technology and operational leaders. Manage complex enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through contract execution. Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and develop new strategic accounts. Partner closely with internal product, marketing and customer success teams. Lead value-based conversations focused on business outcomes and transformation initiatives. Navigate multi-stakeholder buying environments and lengthy procurement processes. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities. Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings and executive briefings. Provide market insight and customer feedback to support product and growth strategy.
Qualifications:
Proven success selling enterprise software into large insurance carriers. Experience within Insur Tech, financial technology, capital markets software or other complex enterprise software environments. Demonstrated ability to manage strategic sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive buyers. Strong consultative selling approach focused on solving business problems rather than selling products. Experience engaging C-suite, business unit and technology leadership teams. Strong commercial acumen and executive presence. Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with sophisticated enterprise clients. Track record of exceeding quota within enterprise software environments. Experience selling transformation, workflow, customer engagement, analytics or digital platform solutions is highly desirable.
What Success Looks Like:
Developing trusted relationships across strategic carrier accounts. Winning and expanding complex enterprise opportunities. Driving meaningful revenue growth through consultative, value-based selling. Positioning the company as a strategic partner rather than a software vendor. Expanding the organisation's presence within top-tier insurance carriers. Becoming a recognised industry expert and trusted advisor to clients.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
