This is a business consulting role focused on commercial performance—not IT implementation, systems delivery, or technical project management. Weber Associates is a specialized Sales and Marketing Performance Improvement Company that helps Fortune 500 clients improve revenue growth, sales effectiveness, marketing performance and the customer experience. We are seeking a client-facing Senior Consultant to lead workstreams and deliver high-impact engagements across financial services, healthcare, retail, and telecommunications. You will partner with executives, functional leaders, and frontline teams to solve complex commercial challenges and translate insights into practical recommendations, tools, and activation plans. The role combines strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, strong client relationship skills, and hands-on delivery. Demonstrable experience working within sales, marketing, service, customer experience, or go-to-market functions is essential. Examples of the Work The following are representative examples—not a checklist of every assignment: Redesign sales process (B2B or B2C), define customer and intermediary touchpoints, and create pipeline management or coverage frameworks. Map a customer journey and recommend omnichannel, service, and touchpoint improvements. Build sales playbooks, talk tracks, objection-handling guides, toolkits, and frontline training programs. Develop a go-to-market strategy with audience segmentation, personas, value propositions, messaging architecture, and activation priorities. Assess sales and marketing effectiveness through research, interviews, client workshops, observations, and performance analysis. Design measures of success, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting approaches. Create change management and activation roadmaps that help client organizations adopt new processes, tools, and behaviors. Lead client workstreams from initial planning through final delivery, managing stakeholder expectations, timelines, risks, analyses, and deliverables. Develop thought leadership, brand positioning, marketing plans, campaigns, and customer or intermediary engagement strategies. Ideal Background Experience in sales effectiveness, marketing strategy, go-to-market strategy, customer experience, customer journey, revenue operations, or frontline sales consulting. Hands-on experience working with Fortune 500 sales teams, marketing organizations, contact centers, service teams, or customer experience functions. Professional services consulting or agency experience, ideally supporting large, complex organizations distributing via complex distribution channels (e.g., financial professionals, brokers, agents).Experience in one or more priority sectors: financial services, healthcare, retail, or telecommunications. Experience leading client engagements or substantial workstreams and managing multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications: Approximately 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a professional services consultancy, strategy firm, or marketing agency. Demonstrated ownership and initiative, including the ability to move ambiguous work forward, make informed decisions, and bring proactive ideas and solution options with limited oversight. Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, research, writing, organizational, and project management skills. Excellent executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities. Advanced proficiency in Power Point and Excel; strong Word skills and familiarity with AI productivity tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and consistently deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts, or a related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree is a plus. Willingness to travel occasionally for client and internal meetings.
