About the role
Duties:
Help Make, modify and repair specialized types of garments for the United States Military Academy. Measure pieces, mark garments to indicate required alterations, and alter or repair coats, jackets, and other tailored items, which require precise shaping and finishing. Custom fit and tailor various items of the cadet uniform, e.g., long overcoat, full dress coat, dress coat and parka. Perform braiding, machine basting, setting sleeves and collar by machine, and other specialized tasks as required.
