About the role

AARP is seeking a creative, design-savvy intern for a paid Fall 2026 internship in the External Relations team. You will help amplify advocacy work through the media and gain experience in strategic communications for aging-related policy issues. The position offers remote work on Mondays and Fridays within the United States, with opportunities to support events, research, drafting, and report design. Ideal candidates are enrolled in communications/related fields and can manage multiple projects.
