Job Description
TechnicalWriter / Data Analyst
Thisposition will support the development a comprehensive, fully compliant, andactionable Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD) for the governmentprogram.
The CARDshall serve as the authoritative source document for the program's costestimate and shall be developed in accordance with Department of DefenseInstruction (DoDI) 5000.73 and the OSD CAPE CADE Guidance for the Preparationof the CARD.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with CARD SME toproperly craft technical language for CARD inclusion.
Acts as liaison betweentechnical experts and end users ensuring technical requirements are accuratelydepicted for cost estimating purposes
Collects and 'cleans' data setsto uncover trends and provide insights to CARD team of large data-relatedrequirements (including size & complexity attributes).
Interprets andtransforms any raw data into meaning requirements information; removespotential requirements errors.
Looks for dataefficiencies to reduce requirements & costs
Prepares briefs,including identifying relevant audience and tailoring information to specificneeds and areas of responsibility.
Creates edits, and maintainstechnical documents such as manuals, reports, specifications, andproceduresrelated to militarysystems, equipment and operations.
Prepares standardoperating procedures.
Experience in collecting,processing, and analysing military data to support operations, decision-making,and system development.
Createspresentations and reports from data collected from a variety of sources todrive process improvement recommendations.
MinimumRequirements:
8 years ofdemonstrated Technical Writer experience drafting, editing, and proofreadingofficial documents for reporting purposes
Experience withdata analysis, transformation and presentation
Experience withMilitary or DoD Health Systems, data and or/environments
