At a high level, we seek a relationship builder who excels in providing the kind of service that creates raving fans. Critical thinkers who utilize lateral approaches to novel situations will thrive as we continue to build industry-leading workplace savings solutions. Ideally, you have spent 3-5 years working with TPA's, advisors, or other institutional partners with superb organizational skills and substantial plan administration / documents experience.What Will You Be Doing?As the Associate, Special Markets & TPA Relationships , you will be our main point of contact with our TPA partners. Our mission is to be a true institutional advocate to the TPA community - and the easiest to work with. Your responsibilities will include helping TPA's use our reporting and platform flawlessly, as well as building advocates of our experience through relationship building.TPA Relationship Enhancement - particularly with Flex PartnersCreate workflows/education articles for internal teams to bring clarity and efficiency to the unbundled space.Work closely with product and other internal stakeholders on platform enhancements tied to new legislation, and ongoing quality control.Year End Testing /5500/Audit reporting support. Understand Vestwell's various reporting functionalities to research and provide clarity for TPAs when needed.Plan Design/Amendments. Understand Vestwell's Bundled Defaults, in tandem with platform limitations and what is legally permissible under ERISA, to be able to intelligently discuss with TPA. In addition, how plan design is initially entered on platform and how scheduled changes are made/captured ongoing.RequirementsThe NecessitiesSuperb Organizational skills.Service first mindset with a passion for excellent customer service.Critical thinking with a focus on analytical thinking and process improvement.Strong understanding of Qualified Plan operations (401(k) / 403(b) in particular)Keen attention to detail, deadlines, and plan year service needs.Proactive attitude to keep the team a step ahead of the curve.Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office suite; Google Workspace; cloud-based client portals and internal network drives.The ExtrasEducational material writing skills in ConfluenceExperience with Multiple Employer Plans (MEP and PEP)Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or higher credential from ASPPAThe expected base salary range for this position is a minimum of $60K - $80K, plus performance based variable.
