Job TitleJob Description HelpSupervising the transporting of materials between warehouses, containers, dockside, barges, and ships decks or holes, operating of ships cranes or winches, as well as securing cargo. Planning, coordination and execution of all phases for loading/unloading ships and containers. Scheduling and supervising stevedores, and shipboard crane operators, blockers and bracers, riggers, crane operators, and material handlers involved in loading and unloading all types of cargo to and from barges, dockside and ships. Coordinating and evaluating various training programs and providing technical on-the-job training for subordinates. Monitoring worker performance and procedures, developing new procedures and enforcing established policy and procedures to safely and economically accomplish work assignments.
