About the role
- Run various machines and equipment within the molding department
- Process and complete paperwork, and operate a forklift as required
- Progress towards a Molding Technician, where you'll oversee preventative maintenance on machines, manage changing out tools and molds, and train Injection Molding Associates
- Follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE, which includes safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe boots/shoes, and gloves
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned.
- Preferred is a high school diploma, or equivalent but not required
- Experience reading and interpreting work orders
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted
- Have an attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization

- Previous machine operating and forklift experience is a plus
- Within 3 months, you'll:
- Complete hourly immersion and any required training.
- Have a good understanding of our Safety Culture.
- Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
- Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
