About the role
Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the endoscopy/gi procedure unit, supporting patient safety and quality outcomes during flexible shifts. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient endoscopic procedures and optimal patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
Administer patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and airway management, responding promptly to changes.
Assist with GI procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and supporting clinicians.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR.Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code requirements.
Participate in rotating call schedules, including weekends and weekdays.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Certified in BLS and ACLS.Demonstrate strong airway management skills.
- Have prior PACU or endoscopy experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
- Flexibility to participate in rotating call shifts.
