About the Role: The Company is seeking a Post-Production Executive to lead the feature film post-production process, from pre-production through to final delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining the strategic direction, standards, and workflows across all stages of post-production. This includes overseeing post-production logistics, budgets, cost projections, and resource allocation for a portfolio of approximately 12-15 films per year. The role also involves managing a team of post-production executives and interfacing with senior executives in various departments. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of post-production leadership experience, extensive knowledge of the post-production process, and a proven track record of leading studio personnel and film crews effectively. Key responsibilities for the Post-Production Executive at the company include supervising the budgeting of post-production, sound, editorial, and delivery requirements, as well as collaborating with the cinematographer on digital capture methods. The role requires a deep understanding of camera capture methods and image science, and the ability to set strategic direction for new workflows. The executive will also be involved in all aspects of post-production, from obtaining bids for crew rooms and equipment to managing post-production financial performance and risks. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential.
