About the role
To support a growing power business group, the full-time OE Transmission Line Engineer will lead transmission line project designs, ensuring compliance with client standards and overseeing project discussions, while working in a hybrid or remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
Participate in project team meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss project progress
Review client submittals and comprehensive construction packages for constructability and compliance
Oversee project implementation, including verification of foundations, structures, and equipment installation
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Structural Engineering
4+ years of experience in transmission line design
In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards
High proficiency in PLS-CADD software
Experience in electrical utility or utility consulting is strongly preferred
