As a Professional Security Officer for Silverseal you will be responsible for the safety and security of our client's property and personnel.Job Type: Part-time*We are seeking Flex/Per-Diem Security Officers. No Permanent Schedule.*Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesSecure property and personnel by standing on post, scanning and controlling facilities, grounds and access pointsIndoor and outdoor Patrols of the premises for entire shiftImplement and practice security procedures and protocolsMaintain a secure and safe environment by monitoring access control systems along with fire and trespassing exitsStrong ability to be attentive to detail and observant of surroundingsKnowledge of operating walkie-talkie, two-way radio transceivers, and answering service calls for assistanceAcknowledge, review, and respond to all operational alarms and security-related situationsUtilize the Closed-Circuit Television (\"CCTV\")Complete accurate and concise reports by recording observations, occurrences, information, and surveillance activities.Provide excellent customer service experience by greeting incoming guests and tenants, providing information regarding the site and surrounding area as requested by visitorWork in various environments such as cold weather, rain, snow, or heatPerform other duties assigned by supervisors related to security and safetyWork ExperienceA minimum of one (1) year work history in a security roleValid Security Guard Licenses for Texas(mandatory).Be at least 21 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalentSecurity Officers are required to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time without sitting or kneelingClimb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shiftOccasionally lift or carry up to 40 poundsDisplay exceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively by both orally and written with interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective mannerAbility to write accurate and concise reports for team members and supervisorsAbility to handle stressful situations and make sound judgement calmly and effectivelyHave intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sitesBenefits401(k)Medical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid time off
