Essential Job Duties:
Specialize in providing care to patients with need dialysis treatment in acute or emergency settings.
Observes patients and dialysis machines during treatment.
Prepares access sites and catheter ports for dialysis.
Cleans and maintains dialysis machines and equipment.
Administers medication as prescribed by medical professionals.
Assist in developing and modifying care plans, prioritizing patient problems, and perform medical tasks.
Provide patient education, follow policies, respond to emergencies, and act as a patient advocate while respecting rights and confidentiality.
Evaluate interventions, maintain professionalism, and seek assistance when needed.
Qualifications:
CCHT certification required.
CNA certification by the State of Indiana preferred.
Must be certified in healthcare provider BLS upon hire.
