Job Title Pay Rate:
$18 per hour Summary: Work Mode: Onsite Location: US-Worcester 5:30am-2pm Responsibilities: Perform operations required to assemble and pack various products according to customer orders. Maintain necessary records for all operations. Check completed parts to ensure compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments. Assemble low-volume, high-complexity products using hand and power tools, including drills, circular saws, screwdrivers, and wrenches. Operate packaging/wrapping equipment and palletize complete units. Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary. Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist the team in achieving plant and department goals by flexing when needed. Support on-the-job training and continuous improvement. Foster an environment that promotes the company's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
Preferred Skills:
High school diploma or GED-equivalent. Minimum 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Minimum 3 months of experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures, blueprints, and work orders. Ability to recognize mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to use a crane once fully trained to lift items. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive motion including lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position. Ability to wear required PPE for the role including safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and protective arm and hand coverings. Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions. Knowledge of basic shop math, assembly, and configuration. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to use measuring equipment, hand and power tools, or saw.
