Role Description:
This full-time, on-site Architectural Designer / Project Manager role is based in Cassadaga, NY. The role involves developing architectural designs from concept through construction documents, including preparing drawings, plans, and technical details. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors; managing project schedules and documentation; and ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The Architectural Designer / Project Manager will participate in site visits, reviews, and meetings, and will support code research, permitting, and quality control of project deliverables. The position requires balancing creative design work with practical project management tasks to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear, buildable solutions. Proficiency in Construction Drawings and technical detailing, including plans, sections, elevations, and coordination sets. Solid Drawing skills (hand and/or digital) to communicate design ideas and support the development of presentation materials. Relevant experience in architectural practice, including project coordination or project management responsibilities. Proficiency with industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, or similar CAD/BIM tools).Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction practices. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field. Ability to work on-site in Cassadaga, NY, manage multiple projects, and maintain attention to detail under deadlines.
