What you'll do: Combine, edit, review, and accurately print documents containing Protected Health Information (PHI) Review documents for accuracy and completeness before correspondence is sent Work with common revenue cycle documents, including UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms, appeals, reconsiderations, EOBs, and remits Review patient accounting information and document activity within VBO systems Access client systems and imaging platforms to obtain account and EOB/remit information Maintain accurate documentation for correspondence and account follow-up Communicate professionally with payer resources through websites, email, telephone, and customer service departments Maintain established quality and productivity standards Assist with mentoring and supporting new hires Maintain compliance with HIPAA privacy and security requirements Support other teams and responsibilities as business needs arise
What you'll need: High school diploma or GED Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Strong computer and internet skills Comfortable using printers, phones, fax machines, and other office equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to maintain effective working relationships and contribute positively to a team Ability to work on-site in an office environment daily
