About the role

Medical ReceptionistOur Medical Receptionist will be responsible for the efficiency, accuracy and professionalism of the front desk. Primary duties include providing exemplary customer service while scheduling appointments, answering multi-line phones and emails and directing patients and all inquiries appropriately. The Medical Receptionist works in a collaborative relationship with the front desk team as well as with other departments and employees.Hours: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays.$500 Sign-on bonus with this position!Job Duties:Answering phone and directing calls or assisting patients as is appropriate, handling and managing the continuous flow of information between the lab, onsite physician and other staff while adhering to our standards of patient care and right to privacySchedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups and physician referrals.Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence.Interview patients to complete insurance and privacy forms.Performs other duties/special projects and tasks as assignedEducation/Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant or Bachelor's degree preferredAt least one year of administrative medical office experience strongly preferredExperience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system strongly preferredFertility experience is preferredWhy You'll Love Working Here Our Amazing Benefits:Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision plans for our full-time employees, along with complimentary basic life insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and long-term disability insurance.
