About the role
Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence Children's Hospital invite a Pediatric General Surgery specialist to join a robust pediatric program in El Paso, TX. Providers will practice in a dedicated 110-bed pediatric hospital with a full spectrum of pediatric subspecialties and comprehensive clinical support. Medical office building adjacent to hospital for seamless care coordination
110-bed pediatric hospital, including 40-bed general pediatric unit, 16-bed PICU, and newly built 30-bed Level IV NICU
Board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists on staff, pediatric hospitalists, and 24/7 in-house neonatologist coverage
On-site pediatric subspecialists spanning cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and more
Compensation
Guaranteed base salary with production bonus

Shift & Schedule
Full Time
Typically 2-3 clinic days and 1-2 surgical days per week; clinic hours Monday through Friday
Shared call, 1:3 rotation
6-10 patients per clinic day; average 5-8 surgeries per week
Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Surgery
Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
