About the role
Director – NDSF Sales Professionals (SaaS, Software & Payment Processing)
At North, we’re reimagining how businesses manage payments—making it simpler and more intuitive for restaurants, retailers, and local entrepreneurs. As a Director leading our Sales Professionals for North’s Direct Field Sales team (NDFS), you’ll coach and empower a team of driven sales pros who help businesses in your community thrive. You’ll guide them in bringing North’s cutting-edge SaaS platforms and payment processing solutions to life, ensuring they’re equipped to deliver an outstanding experience to every client they serve. Your leadership will shape not only their success but also the growth of our company’s footprint in local markets. This role is perfect for someone who loves building high-performing teams, fostering strong relationships, and driving impactful results.
What you’ll do
Lead a team of talented Sales Professionals focused on meeting—and exceeding—North’s annual revenue and profitability goals.
Create and execute sales plans designed to break into new markets, expand our presence in the community, and build valuable referral partnerships.
Collaborate with teams across North—sales support, product development, and client services—to ensure seamless onboarding and a superior customer experience for every new client.
Embrace and promote company initiatives and new programs, ensuring your team stays ahead of the curve.
Share insights, data, and recommendations with senior leadership to help identify process improvements and growth opportunities.
Other responsibilities as assigned—because we’re always growing and evolving!
What this role is not
Are you ready to lead from the front?... Literally! At North, we expect our Directors to roll up their sleeves and actively recruit, build, coach, and support their team. You’ll be in the field, pulling doors with your Sales Professionals, demonstrating what great leadership looks like by getting in the trenches. Your team’s success is your success—if they’re not hitting quota, neither are you. This role is for those who embrace the grind and thrive on leading from the front, not for those who prefer to watch from the sidelines.
Minimum qualifications
18 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
Completion of a drug screening
Must live in or near your assigned sales region
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
Typically 6+ years of professional experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role—someone who knows how to motivate and guide a team to success.
Experience in SaaS, software, or payment processing is a plus.
This is a W2 position with medical, dental, life, and disability benefits to keep you healthy and secure.
Compensation is commission-based with no cap, and our top-performing Directors can expect to earn $90,000–$130,000+ in their first year, thanks to uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity.
Recognition programs to celebrate your hard work and achievements.
A 401(k) with matching to support your long-term financial goals.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
