CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.As our Communications Manager, you will serve as a dynamic, essential voice for the Southern market, reporting directly to the Market Director while aligning with regional and system-wide leadership to shape and execute marketing and communication strategies that support our clinics, facilities, and services.Every day you will execute vital communication tasks, including managing platforms, drafting high-quality content, and operating internal systems to ensure the timely dissemination of information, while monitoring campaign effectiveness and refining messaging to enhance our overall reach.To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, technical proficiency with industry tools, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, adaptable mindset that ensures impactful connections with diverse stakeholders and upholds our brand standards.Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance organizational reputation across key stakeholders, including patients, community partners, government agencies, and healthcare industry associationsProactively identify, monitor, and mitigate potential reputational risks, including addressing misinformation and managing corporate responses during sensitive organizational or industry challengesChampion executive positioning initiatives, including media relations, speaking engagements, and conference representation, while overseeing the production of high-quality external content across digital and print channelsLead the development and deployment of internal communication strategies, including organizational change management, leadership messaging, and internal campaigns that drive employee satisfaction and wellnessProvide vision, guidance, and professional development to a team of communication professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and high performancePartner with HR, IT, and clinical leadership to refine communication channels and organizational messaging, utilizing data-driven insights to measure impact and continuously improve communication effectivenessRequiredBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related fieldMinimum of six (6) years of experience in marketing and/or communications rolesProven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic marketing and communications plansStrong understanding of healthcare marketing and communications trends, regulations, and best practicesStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to various audiencesExcellent presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior executivesStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skillsCollaborative work styleAbility to work in a large, geographically diverse systemPreferredMinimum of six (6) years of experience in marketing and/or communications roles within the healthcare industryBaylor St. Luke's Medical Center is an 1,045 bed facility located in the Texas medical center.
