In this role, you will support SE efforts on programs, as well as spend up to 50% of your time seeking out and managing new hires into the department. This position provides an opportunity to grow your technical skillset by contributing to the development of our workforce and creating and fostering an collaborative environment.What You Will DoLead a dynamic team of engineers & meet with program leadership to identify staffing needs and rotationsWorking with Talent Acquisition to generate job postings and conduct interviewsCoordinate pre-boarding and onboarding experience for new employees joining the department & identify tasking opportunities for new employeesUpdate, maintain, and improve requirements and requirements documentation for development and production effortsModel the system and the system development and production processes using CameoParticipate in Failure InvestigationsConduct Trade Studies and present results to customersTroubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysisQualification You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experienceExperience working in the areas of system integration & testExperience with the Performance Development processExperience working in a matrix environmentQualifications We PreferMaster’s or PhD in Engineering, Math or PhysicsPrior experience managing direct reports in an engineering environmentPrior experience with conducting job interviews and evaluationsPrior experience evaluating staffing levelsDemonstrated ability to effectively manage a geographically dispersed teamExperience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking systemExperience with Raytheon’s Proposal Capture Process (development of Basis of Estimates, etc.)Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) processClear communication and interpersonal skillsWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
