Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Kitchen Manager to lead our bustling kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess exceptional leadership skills to manage a diverse team of over 30 staff members.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.- Manage, train, and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.- Collaborate with the executive chef to develop and execute menu offerings specific to seafood and BBQ.- Maintain inventory levels, manage ordering processes, and ensure stock and equipment maintenance.- Implement and enforce safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local health regulations.- Analyze operational performance and sales metrics to support restaurant goals and improvements.- Engage in cost control and waste management practices to optimize profitability.- Address customer inquiries and feedback positively, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in kitchen management, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.- Proven ability to lead teams of 30+ in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in kitchen management software and POS systems.- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.- Culinary education or related certification is a plus.
