Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems Document all service work, parts used, and labor accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors or management
Requirements: Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty technician Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, drivetrains, and electrical components Proficiency with diagnostic software and mechanical tools Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Valid driver's license required; CDL a plusASE certification or equivalent preferred Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-first attitude
