Equipment Service Associate Our client, a leading provider in outdoor power equipment and repair services, is seeking a dedicated Equipment Service Associate to join their team. As an Equipment Service Associate, you will be an integral part of the service department supporting customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks What's the Job? Repair and maintain small engines and outdoor power equipment to ensure optimal performance Support front-counter customer service, handle phone inquiries, and assist with equipment operations Assist with assembly, staging, and safe movement of equipment Diagnose mechanical issues, provide repair estimates, and perform routine maintenance Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and transport items safely What's Needed? Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with small engines and outdoor power equipment Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Basic computer skills for documentation and work order management Ability to lift and move equipment up to 60 pounds and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment What's in it for me?
