About the role

Help Cougs 4 Kids raise resources for mentoring, readiness, camp, service, and youth leadership opportunities benefiting underserved youth and young people. We are seeking volunteer Fundraising Team Members to support approved donor research, outreach, campaigns, events, stewardship, sponsorships, and administrative projects.
Responsibilities: Research potential donors, sponsors, alumni, businesses, foundations, and community supportersPrepare approved outreach lists, messages, call notes, presentations, and follow-upSupport crowdfunding, email, social, event, peer-to-peer, and sponsorship campaignsMaintain accurate CRM records, tasks, consent, preferences, and source informationCoordinate acknowledgments, stewardship, fulfillment, and campaign reportingFollow gift-acceptance, privacy, conflict, authorization, and tax-language rulesAvoid pressure, personal benefit, unapproved promises, or individualized tax adviceCollaborate with development, marketing, alumni, events, finance, and program teamsQualifications: Experience or interest in fundraising, nonprofit development, sales, research, communications, events, alumni relations, or administrationStrong organization, professional communication, discretion, and follow-throughComfort with CRM, spreadsheets, email, phone, and virtual collaborationWillingness to use approved scripts and authorization boundariesWSU or Coug connections are helpful but not requiredThis is a remote, recurring role available within the United States.
