We are building our own Ping Tree platform to connect loan applicants with a growing network of lenders and lead buyers. We’re looking for a Buyer Relations & Ping Tree Manager to help expand our buyer network, manage partner relationships, and improve lead distribution and profitability. This is a hands-on role with direct influence over how we build and grow the business.
About the Role:
You will own the buyer side of our operation—from identifying and onboarding new partners to managing daily performance and finding opportunities to grow existing accounts. You should be comfortable discussing commercial terms with buyers, working with developers on integrations, and analyzing campaign data to decide where and how to route leads.
What You’ll Do:
Build and grow our buyer network. Identify, recruit, and onboard lenders and other qualified personal-loan lead buyers. Own buyer relationships. Serve as the primary contact for campaign setup, volume needs, performance reviews, and issue resolution. Negotiate commercial terms. Work with buyers on pricing, volume commitments, caps, and payment terms. Manage Ping Tree campaigns. Configure and optimize buyer filters, routing priorities, pricing, schedules, and daily limits. Improve monetization. Monitor revenue per lead, acceptance rates, buyer coverage, and margins; identify ways to increase profitable volume. Analyze buyer performance. Investigate rejection reasons, delivery errors, conversion trends, and funding outcomes where buyer reporting is available. Coordinate integrations. Work with buyers and our development team on API requirements, testing, launch readiness, and troubleshooting. Match supply with demand. Communicate buyer requirements and capacity to our traffic team so lead supply aligns with active campaigns. Maintain quality. Address buyer feedback, lead quality concerns, returns, and discrepancies; coordinate with internal teams on consent and data-handling requirements. Report results. Provide weekly updates on buyer performance, profitability, growth opportunities, and action items. Support payment reconciliation. Coordinate with accounting to resolve reporting differences and buyer payment issues. Help shape the platform. Turn operational needs into clear recommendations for dashboards, automation, and Ping Tree improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in buyer relations, lender partnerships, account management, or lead monetization within the U.S. personal-loan industry. Hands-on experience with a Ping Tree, lead distribution platform, or similar routing system. A track record of growing buyer accounts and improving campaign performance. Strong understanding of lead pricing, buyer filters, caps, acceptance rates, revenue per lead, and profitability. Confidence working in Excel or Google Sheets to analyze data and communicate findings. Enough technical fluency to work with API documentation, delivery responses, tracking, and postbacks alongside developers. Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-through skills. Ability to take ownership, prioritize independently, and build processes in a growing operation. Familiarity with consumer lead quality, consent, and responsible data handling. Especially Valuable Existing relationships with personal-loan lenders and lead buyers. Experience launching or scaling a buyer network. Familiarity with non-prime and subprime personal-loan campaigns. Experience helping develop an internal lead distribution platform. Experience representing a company at industry conferences and partner meetings.
What Success Looks Like:
A growing network of active, reliable buyers. Stronger revenue per lead and overall profitability. Better buyer coverage across lead segments. Reliable integrations and fewer avoidable delivery failures. Long-term buyer relationships supported by clear communication and consistent performance.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
