Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Chief of Infectious Disease Physician to lead our integrated Infectious Disease team at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In this role, you will oversee a dedicated department, guide clinical growth, and collaborate with over 25 system-wide ID experts. Practice Info Integrated Infectious Disease team in Bridgeport, Connecticut Reporting to the System Director of Infectious Disease Department of 4 physicians with interaction across 25 Infectious Disease physicians around the system Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level No primary care Shared call with other ID physicians

Responsibilities: Continued growth of the Section of Infectious Disease Establishing communication lines with all services lines to provide support Mentorship of junior faculty Oversee the hospital epidemiology program, working closely with Infection Prevention Work closely with our Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists Inpatient consultations at St Vincent’s Medical Center Outpatient office including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment, STDs and travel medicine Post graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students Compensation Competitive compensation package Incentive compensation opportunities Hire bonuses, incentive pay plans, loan repayment, administrative stipends, or relocation

Requirements: Board Certification in Infectious Disease MD or DO degree Eligibility for Connecticut medical licensure Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience

Preferred: Prior leadership experience (e.g., Section Chief, Medical Director)

Preferred: Experience in a multi-site health system
