Day-to-Day:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Financial Counseling team Manage and support a team of approximately 18 staff members Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures Handle staff management, scheduling, and timekeeping responsibilities Monitor work queues and operational performance metrics Guide patients through Medicaid enrollment and local DSS assistance programs
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Financial Counseling Manager for a leading healthcare organization. This individual will oversee a team responsible for helping patients navigate financial assistance programs, Medicaid enrollment, and other funding resources. The manager will be responsible for daily operations, staff supervision, policy compliance, workflow management, and cross-functional collaboration with care management and social work teams. The ideal candidate is a strong revenue cycle leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and can successfully guide teams through operational and system changes, including upcoming EPIC enhancements.
