About the role
Speaker Test Technician Quality control of gear- great attention to detail - physical inspection for repair of cabinets, rigging, dollies, grilles, etc. Test cabinets to manufacturers' specifications using ERP system and speaker test equipment Troubleshoot basic to complex speaker failures Communicate with Engineering and IT departments on current and future test procedures Communicate with repair staff on speaker failures, damage Maintain organized work area and attention to detail throughout all processes Always maintain safety All other duties as assigned Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client driven, demanding environment Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes challenging conditions Basic computer skills Basic hand tool and hand-held power tool skills Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to prioritize and complete tasks under strict deadlines
