About the role
EHS Manager Five years of EHS (safety focus) experience required within manufacturing operations (prefer food but wide open on general manufacturing operations) and bachelor's degree required. Relocation assistance will be available for this role. Hands-on leader and influencer with the ability to drive culture change. EHS Manager for a large manufacturing plant that increases during seasonal gear ups between July through October and will directly supervise a three person EHS Department (EHS Generalists). This is a critical and highly valued role at the company that will focus heavily on behavioral safety and health initiatives such as building and driving new programs, systems, training & related activities for the facility. Accountable for enhancing the safety culture, employee engagement, leading teams and developing staff. Work with site leadership team to build a sustainable program. Personality traits include a leader-coach mentality, change agent with a team-oriented focus.
Key Requirements include:
Five plus years of plant safety experience with proven track record of success Ability to build a safety plan, execute and prioritize action items Manufacturing plant experience required Bachelor's degree in safety, Environmental or technical
