Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 or Stamford, CT 06902 Relocation assistance available Seeking a Senior Media Investment Buyer with 5+ years of agency or media buying experience to lead local media investments, negotiate buys, manage client accounts, and oversee an Associate-level direct report.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate and manage local TV and radio media buys; digital video experience is a plus. Develop media plans based on campaign goals, budgets, timelines, and target audiences. Analyze local market conditions, audience trends, and competitive activity. Negotiate rates, placements, and added-value opportunities to maximize reach and impressions. Monitor campaign delivery and performance against goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with local media vendors and station representatives. Manage and mentor an Associate, including daily workload and development.
Qualifications:
5+ years of media buying/investment experience, preferably with strong local media experience. Established relationships with local TV/radio station contacts. Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Strata and SQAD experience preferred.
