About the role

A Supply Chain Analyst ensures efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods by analyzing data, optimizing processes, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
Essential Functions: Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, forecast inventory needs, and support decision-making Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery Monitor supplier performance and enforce compliance with quality standards, including negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, logistics, operations, sales, and IT to align supply chain strategies with business objectives Track and manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock Prepare reports and dashboards on supply chain performance, including delivery times, transportation costs, and inventory metrics Lead or participate in supply chain optimization projects, such as warehouse layout improvements or new distribution strategies
Role Requirements: Analytical and quantitative skills to interpret complex data and identify trends Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, including ERP systems (SAP preferred), Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas), and data visualization tools Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address supply chain challenges efficiently Communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields; a master’s degree can be advantageous
Experience: Typically 2+ years in supply chain analysis or a related role; internships or project experience may also be considered Certifications (optional but beneficial): Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)Environmental Restrictions Ability to perform essential job duties in both indoor and outdoor environments, including offices, facilities, and external job sites. Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, moving equipment, and uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and operating tools or equipment as necessary to perform job responsibilities. Regular attendance and adherence to company safety policies are required.
