Description:
Watershed Restoration Group Inc., an Accounting company based in Missoula, is seeking a Mid-Senior Botanical Garden Curator to join our team. As a Botanical Garden Curator, you will work on-site to manage and maintain our botanical garden, ensuring that it is a beautiful and educational space for visitors. Salary for this position is between 45000 and 60000 USD per year, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. We offer full-time employment and an on-site working mode. Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the botanical garden, including plant care, pest control, and irrigation
Develop and implement educational programs and events for visitors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute garden improvements and expansions
Manage the garden budget and ensure that expenses are within budgetary constraints
Supervise and train garden staff and volunteers
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in horticulture, botany, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in botanical garden management
Strong knowledge of plant care, pest control, and irrigation techniques
Experience developing and implementing educational programs and events
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to supervise and train staff and volunteers
