POSITION OVERVIEW: The Sigma Dashboard Developer sits within the Enterprise Data & Analytics department, reporting directly to the Analytics Lead. This professional will solve critical enterprise scaling challenges by designing, building, and maintaining performant dashboards and robust data models within Databricks and Sigma Computing environments. They will bridge the gap between complex raw data architectures and intuitive executive-level decision-making tools.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, develop, and publish production-grade dashboards and workbooks in Sigma Computing to meet business requirements for accuracy, usability, and performance. | Understand, navigate, and contribute to data models in Databricks, including querying Delta tables and writing optimized SQL.• Build and refine data models and semantic layers underpinning dashboard development, defining metrics, dimensions, aggregations, and business logic.• Translate business requirements gathered from senior stakeholders and business analysts into intuitive, self-service ready dashboard designs.• Validate data accuracy and reconcile dashboard outputs against source systems and upstream pipelines, escalating discrepancies with clear documentation.• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize pipeline architecture, query performance, and enterprise data volume responsiveness.
