About the role
A growing industrial equipment manufacturing company just outside of Milwaukee is adding a Controls Engineer to their team. This is a great opportunity to get in with a company that has passionate leadership, good benefits, and offers competitive compensation Design electrical controls and program PLC and HMI systems for automated industrial equipment Support projects from initial concept through shop testing, virtual commissioning, and customer startup Develop electrical drawings and maintain bills of material and part information in an ERP system Provide lifecycle support, including troubleshooting, upgrades, diagnostics, and software revisions Requires proficiency with Rockwell Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal and applicable HMI software Associate or bachelor’s degree with three to five years of related experience, or equivalent qualifications. Approximately 20% travel Experience with panel design, UL508A, industrial networking, robotics, vision, RFID, and digital-twin experience are preferred.
