About the role
Providing vital administrative and financial support, the full-time Administrative Budget Assistant will manage purchasing, service contracts, and reimbursements while working in a hybrid environment with 2-3 days remote and the remainder onsite.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and process purchase requisitions, department orders, and check requests while coordinating with faculty and staff
Administer service and maintenance contracts, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained
Handle reimbursements and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with university policies and tracking submissions for timely payment
Required qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent combined experience/education
Minimum of 3 years of secretarial, clerical, or administrative experience
Experience in budget, financial, or payroll processes
Proficiency in administrative operations and event support
Strong organizational skills with the ability to streamline workflows
