Director of Real Estate Development & Construction Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an experienced Director of Real Estate Development & Construction for a local company. This is an opportunity for a driven professional with experience in real estate development, commercial construction, acquisitions, or related fields to identify new opportunities and help move projects from concept through completion.
What You'll Do: Identify and evaluate new real estate development and investment opportunities. Build relationships with property owners, brokers, municipalities, investors, business leaders, and community partners. Evaluate project feasibility, including financial analysis, market conditions, due diligence, and development costs. Lead predevelopment activities, including site evaluation, zoning, entitlements, financing, and project planning. Prepare financial models and investment recommendations for company leadership. Negotiate transactions and coordinate with internal and external project partners. Work closely with leadership and construction teams throughout the development process. Help identify and pursue opportunities that support the company's continued growth.
What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience in commercial real estate development, acquisitions, brokerage, finance, construction, or business development. Experience sourcing and advancing real estate opportunities. Strong financial analysis, underwriting, and project evaluation skills. Knowledge of land acquisition, zoning, entitlements, financing, and the development process. Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills. Self-directed and entrepreneurial approach with the ability to identify opportunities and move projects forward. Why Consider This Opportunity?
