About the role

A&M United Methodist Church is seeking a Director of Youth Ministry to lead and shape a thriving ministry for students in grades 6–12. We believe teenagers are not simply the future of the Church—they are an essential part of the Church today. Working alongside parents and caregivers, volunteers, pastors, and ministry staff, the Director will cultivate a community where students know Jesus Christ, grow as disciples, discover their God-given gifts, and become Christian leaders who faithfully serve God throughout their lives. The Director of Youth Ministry will provide caring, strategic, and organizational leadership for all aspects of youth ministry. Success is measured not simply by attendance or events, but by students whose lives are transformed through Jesus Christ—young people who build a resilient faith, ask honest questions, serve others with compassion, and confidently follow God's call wherever it leads. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next chapter of youth ministry in one of the fastest-growing congregations in the Texas Annual Conference. Located directly across from Texas A&M University, A&M UMC is a vibrant, multi-generational church where students worship, serve, and lead alongside every generation. As part of a healthy, creative, and deeply committed ministry team, the Director will help strengthen families, develop student leaders, and prepare the next generation to become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
