About the role

Warehouse Management Position Utilize SAP Warehouse Management system to prepare pallets of glass for bottling production. Use forklift to load pallets of glass onto depalletizer for bottling production. Utilize SAP Warehouse Management system to maintain and store raw materials in the empty glass warehouse in their designated locations. Uses handheld scanner and forklift mounted computer for Warehouse Management and Google for email communication and daily load schedule. Keep a daily total of production requirements versus available glass inventory. Communicate inventory shortages or overages in a timely manner. Maintain clean work area by discarding plastic and cardboard waste in designated areas. Assist Depal operators as needed. Provide support to receiving department, bottling and material supply as needed. Work in a team atmosphere. Maintain necessary records for forklift conditions and usage. Adhere to all safety requirements and sanitation requirements. Prepare work area for the following shift.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Good computer skills for Warehouse Management
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a forklift license
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math
  • Willing to work flexible schedule or weekends as needed.
  • Must possess good oral and written skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Ability to adapt to change with little notice.
  • Ability to stay focused in a fast paced work environment.
  • Willing to learn and must be trainable. Candidates must be willing to learn and capable of conforming to hygiene and sanitation requirements as described in the Brown-Forman Housekeeping and Sanitation Manual
