About the role

Director of Sales – Pharmaceutical Solutions We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to drive growth within the pharmaceutical industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to help expand an innovative healthcare technology platform focused on improving patient access and affordability. As an individual contributor, you’ll own the full sales cycle, from identifying new business opportunities to building relationships with key stakeholders at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a growing market, influence senior decision-makers, and close strategic deals that support evolving patient access and support initiatives.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to identify and pursue high-value opportunities across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Prospect and engage pharmaceutical manufacturers, building relationships with stakeholders across Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial, and Brand Marketing. Own the full sales cycle, including lead generation, prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and closing complex deals. Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior decision-makers, positioning the platform as a partner in addressing patient access, affordability, and support challenges. Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform sales strategies and identify new market opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Marketing, to share market insights and align solutions with evolving customer needs. Develop tailored solutions that address pharmaceutical companies’ patient support and affordability challenges while delivering measurable business impact.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions into the pharmaceutical industry, ideally engaging Brand Marketing, Commercial, Market Access, Patient Services, or senior leadership teams. Demonstrated success launching, developing, or scaling a sales vertical or new market. Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including key stakeholders, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations. Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans while adapting to an evolving market. Proven ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and influence complex buying processes. Track record of managing full-cycle enterprise sales, closing high-value deals, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% of the time.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
