About the role

Job TitleThis position provides analytical and program support to strengthen OCSE's oversight of state and tribal child support programs through reporting analysis, data quality review, and targeted technical assistance.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include conducting detailed reviews of reports submitted by state child support agencies, identifying discrepancies across reporting periods, coordinating with Regional Office staff and state agencies to resolve reporting errors, performing data analysis related to program performance, providing data-driven technical assistance to grantees, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, assisting with technical guidance on federal reporting requirements, collaborating with Federal teams to define requirements for new reports, serving as OCSE data experts, conducting cost/benefit analysis, providing liaison services to external agencies, providing subject matter expertise in the development of management information repositories, supporting development, testing, and validation of standard reports, providing end-user support and training for MICRS and Data Analytics systems, conducting analytic projects evaluating DFS application usage, serving as SMEs supporting customers analyzing survey tools, statistical techniques, and visualization tools, researching statistical programs for relevance to emerging child support issues, analyzing state-level data to identify statistical patterns, and producing visual analytics products.
Required: SkillsRequired skills include a HS Diploma and at least 5+ years of experience supporting Child Support agencies, experience with federal grants, program oversight, or child support enforcement programs, experience analyzing financial, operational, or performance data, ability to clearly communicate complex concepts, familiarity with federal reporting environments and compliance review processes, experience working with state or federal program reporting systems, proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools, experience developing dashboards and visualizations, skilled in data validation and quality review techniques, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to identify trends, anomalies, and compliance risks, and capacity to manage multiple reporting cycles and deadlines.
