About the role
E/M Assembler – 6Mo + Contract – Framingham, MAHours are 7am – 7:30pm – 3 Day 12 Hour Shifts w/ OT
Job Summary:
Will be supporting all aspects of production within the distribution area. This includes assembly, test, packaging, inventory control, shipping, and any other tasks required to meet production targets.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that all applicable processes and procedures are followed during the entire order process.
Identify & escalate all issues impacting customer orders and work with the responsible parties until a resolution is implemented and the order ships.
Perform/coordinate "engineering experiments" necessary to root cause product/process issues, qualify new parts or process/test changes, and/or support order processing activity.
Requirements:
3- 5 years experience assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies with experience in a New Product Introduction or Distribution Center environment preferred.
Must be capable of performing order picking, system configuration, complex electro-mechanical assembly, inspection, and kitting functions on customer orders.
Must have outstanding manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of order processing and ability to maintain accurate inventory control during all phases of activity.
Ability to read/understand complex assembly
to identify and communicate opportunities to maximize production efficiency, insure process control and suggest product/process improvements.
Must be available to work OT as required to meet production targets.
