Location: Transportation Department
Available: 2026/2027 School Year (Year round hiring)
Compensation: $20.84 p/hr (2026-2027 rate)
Hours: Full-time/10-month Exact hours TBD
Description: The Transportation Assistant (School Bus Aide) will ride on a school bus and assist Special Needs students. Applicants must be in good physical condition as responsibilities include securing wheelchairs (including tie-downs), strapping a child into a safety vest and/or fastening a seat belt. Training provided.
Requirements: Applicants must be able to stoop, crawl, climb stairs and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have patience and enjoy working with children.
