About the role

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise. The Product Marketing Manager will help drive the growth of our Optical Interconnect business by serving as a key interface between customers, partners, engineering, and business leadership. This individual will support customer engagement, business development, product positioning, and the creation of compelling marketing and technical content.
Key Responsibilities: Support customer meetings, technical reviews, and commercial discussions. Develop and maintain customer-facing presentations, messaging, and value propositions. Generate content for blogs, webinars, conference presentations, and executive communications. Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities. Support business development activities, ecosystem partnerships, and lead generation efforts. Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to translate technology into clear customer benefits. Help define go-to-market strategies for next-generation optical interconnect products. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Marketing, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, business development, or technical sales. Experience in semiconductors, photonics, optical communications, datacenter infrastructure, or related technologies preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences. Comfortable engaging directly with customers, partners, and senior leadership. TravelUp to 25% travel, including both domestic and international travel, as business needs require. CompensationThe expected base salary range for this position is $220,000-$300,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
