Duration: 12+ Months (Temp to Perm)1st shift 4/10s 7AM-5:30PM Mon-Thu Employees must be willing to work second shift with limited supervision.
Job Description: Client is searching for Test Engineering Technician candidate to join the team where the candidate will support production and Depot testing, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
Essential Functions: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties Work with little to no supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures Lean, continuous improvement mindset Using a variety of diagnostic tools, DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers, etc., troubleshoot and fault isolate to component level. Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment Strong attention to detail
Qualifications
Must Have: Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics Familiarity with National Instruments Test Stand and Linux operating systems
Preferred Additional Skills: Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office)Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills Familiarity with National Instruments Test Stand and Linux operating systems
