Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overall supervision and coordination of all maintenance employees and activities in the plant.
Job Location
This is an onsite role based in Phoenix, AZ.
Job Responsibilities
Provide daily direction and support to the maintenance team and their efforts. This includes troubleshooting and repair of all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Observe the plant in operation to ensure the proper function of all equipment and that it can run at optimal quality and performance at all times
Maintain preventative maintenance program. This includes assigning daily tasks, maintaining records, creating/modifying PM’s as needed, auditing PM’s, etc
Ensure compliance with all EH&S requirements and work to continuously maintain a safe environment for all employees, contractors, visitors and vendors
Work with the Plant Manager daily to prioritize and address any needs of the production team
Maintain an adequate spare parts inventory to include all critical spares, tools, parts needed for special projects, and supplies for regularly scheduled PM’s
Provide leadership for the maintenance team including coaching, discipline, management of vacations, timekeeping, identifying training needs, etc
This position is expected to be hands‑on and an integral part of the maintenance team
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Manager, or equivalent combination of experience, training and education. Associated degree preferred
Ability to maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and controls equipment used in industrial manufacturing
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings
