About the role

Description

Client Service Representative (CSR): Andover Animal Hospital – Andover, MA Pay range: $18-24 DOE If you've ever been called the "organizer of chaos" (and meant it as a compliment), you might just be our next CSR. At Andover Animal Hospital, our client service team is the welcoming committee, the calm voice on the phone, and the steady presence that keeps our bustling practice running smoothly. We've been part of the Andover community since 1958, caring for pets and their people with genuine compassion and a commitment to excellence. Our clients are dedicated, our team is tight-knit, and our hospital culture is as supportive as it gets. (Think: coworkers who actually help when you're swamped, and a management team that truly listens.) We're looking for a part-time or full-time Client Service Representative who loves connecting with people, isn't thrown off by a barking chorus now and then, and finds satisfaction in making each visit a great experience from start to finish.

What you'll be doing:

Greeting clients (and their adorable sidekicks) with warmth, empathy, and efficiency
Managing calls, appointments, and the occasional "my cat ate what?" situation
Helping pet parents understand estimates, invoices, and care plans
Keeping the front desk area tidy and organized (because chaos management is your superpower)
Supporting your teammates — we're big on collaboration around here

What we're looking for:

Prior experience in a veterinary or medical setting is a plus
Strong multitasking and communication skills
Comfort with computers and front desk systems
A friendly, patient, professional attitude — especially under pressure
A team player who can keep smiling even on the busiest days

What we offer:

Pay range: $18–24/hour, depending on experience
Generous health, dental, and vision insurance options (including some 100% paid premiums!)Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance 401(k) with a strong company match
Paid time off (sick, personal, and vacation)
Team member pet care discounts
Fertility and family-building support through ProgynyLGBTQIA+ healthcare support through FOLXAccess to Headspace, physical therapy programs, and more
DailyPay option, so you can access your earnings when you need them

At Andover Animal Hospital, you'll find a workplace that values kindness, teamwork, and growth. Many of our team members have been with us for years — a testament to how much we care for each other, not just our patients. If you're ready to join a place where you'll be appreciated for all the little (and big) things you do, we'd love to meet you. United Veterinary Care provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, age, mental disability, physical disability, medical condition, gender, sexual orientation, genetic information, ancestry, marital status, national origin, veteran status, and other classifications protected by applicable state and local non-discrimination laws.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
