Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary We are seeking a dedicated Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
  • Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance
  • Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for storage or shipment
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize space utilization and workflow
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
  • SkillsProven experience operating various heavy equipment including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks
  • Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail for accurate order picking and load securing
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
